Just chillin in a grassy field…on a loveseat…like a diva.

I am so excited to share this post with you.  Lewis used to work with Lisa at his last job and we were stoked when she called us up and asked us to take some updated portraits for her.  We talked about locations and Lisa really liked the idea of waking up at the crack of dawn (what was she thinking???) to go capture some epic photos in a grassy field out near UCF.  (Just kidding Lisa, we had a blast!)  I’ve had the concept of vintage-loveseat-in-some-peculiar-random-place in my head for a while now but have just needed a willing participant, oh and a love seat.  About a week before our session the search began to find the perfect one.  I checked Ebay, Google, Craig’s list, garage sales, you name it and after looking at LOTS of ugly couches we finally found the perfect one.  So without further ado, here are Lisa’s portraits…in a field…on a love seat…looking like a FIERCE diva!

Morning sun rays photographed by Love Photography

Morning fog, sunflare, who could ask for more?

I wholeheartedly believe this girl should be a model. ;)

Lisa was such a trooper.  Lewis and I were moving the love seat out of the van to carry it into the field and she picked up the rest of our gear and props and just took off saying, I got it all, don’t worry!  I tried to tell her she was paying US to do that kind of stuff but she wouldn’t take no for an answer.

FAVORITE!!!

Work it girl!

Lisa- even though we sweated like we have never sweat before we had a blast.  Thanks for the terrific time last Saturday.

If you love Lisa’s photos and would like your own on the love seat in some peculiar place we have lots of ideas we’re dying to try!  Or if love seats aren’t your thing, we’d love to hear your ideas.   To set up your own spectacular portrait session drop us a line at hello@createdbylove.com.

Lewis’ Graduation from the University of Central Florida

My husband is officially a college graduate!  Lewis graduated with a BS in Computer Engineering from UCF on May 8th.  I am so proud of him for working so hard and it has finally paid off.  Lewis has an amazing job in Web Development located in Celebration that he is truly enjoying.  It was so exciting to witness this accomplishment for Lewis.  Here are some images from the big day.

Here he comes!  This was our first glimpse of Lewis during the processional.

Apparently every school in the college has different colors or garb that mean certain things.  The Engineering graduates wore orange tassels to signify that they were in that college.  I thought it was a little strange, where was the black and gold?!

As you can see, in a room with HUNDREDS of graduates it was a bit like finding a needle in a haystack.

Bagpipe players led in the processional of the faculty and honored guests.

The  President of UCF,  John Hitt.

It’s like finding “Where’s Waldo?”

There was a woman and man on stage that took turns reading off the names of all the graduates.  The woman read WAY fast but luckily she said Lewis’ name perfectly and we caught it all on video too.

Pretty sure this was the part where I was screaming my head off for him. :-D

It’s official!

Lewis with his mom, Shirley outside the arena.  Can’t you see the resemblance?:)

Lewis’ stepdad Dan joined them for this one.Me with my husband!  Yay!

My mom joined us for this one.
