On Christmas Eve we had the pleasure of shooting the Stewart Family’s portraits in Downtown Orlando. Now this may sound like a strange day for a portrait session but it was the only day we could get together with them. More importantly, during our consultation Tanya had informed us that since she and her husband Danny were married nine years ago, they have never had all three of their kids together on Christmas morning nor have they had a portrait done of all of them together. So, this year she was very happy to be able to do both.
Lora and I both have all of our immediate family in town so it’s a little hard for me to imagine what it was like for Tanya and Danny to have all their kids home at the same time for the holidays. I live about 15 minutes from my parents and most of the time I take this proximity for granted, but after spending the day with this fun, loving family I am a little more appreciative of having my family close by. This session was a great way to kick off the Christmas weekend. Maybe we should try to make a tradition out of it.
We started the session at Church Street Station. Their dog Audi joined them for this one.

Cody is a volunteer fireman in Indiana so we thought it would be appropriate to take some shots in front of the large Orlando fire station downtown.

The last stop on our downtown Orlando tour was at our favorite wall. It’ll be a sad day when they finally build something in this vacant lot.

Thanks for a wonderful, fun day and we hope to see you again soon!

They did such a great job with the nursery decor that we had to shoot a few there too.
